Coast rolls to 8-1 win over Gauchos
MISSION VIEJO -- The Orange Coast College women's tennis team improved to 7-3 overall, 5-1 in the Orange Empire Conference following an 8-1 win at Saddleback College on Tuesday afternoon.
Several Pirates picked up singles wins, including Krystal Hernandez (6-0, 6-1), Nory Call (6-0, 6-0), Nicole Pham (6-0, 5-7, 7-5), Remi Sutton (6-4, 6-1) and Claire Crossman (3-6, 6-1, 6-0).
In doubles, Call and Madelyn Koehly, Pham and Sutton and Hernandez and Crossman all collected 8-2 wins for the Pirates.
OCC will return to action on Thursday at home against Fullerton College, beginning at 2 p.m.
