Coast captures 6-3 win over Cypress
CYPRESS -- The Orange Coast College women's tennis team wrapped up second-place in the Orange Empire Conference standings with a 6-3 win at Cypress College on Tuesday.
Straight-set wins were picked up by Madelyn Koehly (6-1, 6-3), Norrie Call (7-6, 6-2) and Nicole Pham (6-0, 6-0), while Claire Crossman pulled out a 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win for the Pirates (10-4 overall, 8-2 in OEC).
In doubles, the teams of Call and Krystal Hernandez (9-8) and Pham and Crossman (8-0) each prevailed for Coast.
The Pirates will return to action on April 19-20 at the OEC Championships, held at Cypress College.
