Emrich will move on to the Academy of Art
COSTA MESA -- Orange Coast College sophomore opposite Isabel Emrich will be moving up to San Francisco to attend the Academy of Art University, according to head coach Chuck Cutenese.
Emrich (University HS) was a two-time, second-team, All-Orange Empire Conference selection for the Pirates.
The physical lefty finished 2012 with 64 kills, 51 digs and 19 total blocks, helping the Pirates (19-3) return to the second round of the Southern California Regional playoffs.
Emrich finished her career with 180 kills, 187 digs and was a mainstay for two seasons on the right side of the Pirate lineup.
