Riggs sets sights on Hawaii
COSTA MESA -- A pair of standout sophomores from the Orange Coast College women's volleyball team will be continuing their athletic and academic careers at the next level, according to head coach Chuck Cutenese.
Riggs (Tustin HS), a two-time, first-team, all-conference standout for the Pirates, finished her Coast career with 748 kills, second-most all time in school history behind two-time, All-American Kiwi Winkler's 895 in 2005-06.
Last year, Riggs led the Pirates with 373 kills and 195 digs and earned a spot on the 2012 All-State team for her outstanding play.
