Coast opens PCC play with win over Grossmont
EL CAJON -- The Orange Coast College men's volleyball team opened up Pacific Coast Conference play with a four-game win over host Grossmont College on Wednesday night.
Dillon Emery led the Pirates (4-3, 1-0 in PCC) with 14 kills and four digs in their 22-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-16 win. Rusty Sary added 13 kills and four digs, while teammate John Christian added nine kills and a team-best six digs.
Setter Michael Ensign dished out 37 assists and added a solo block and three block assists to his scoresheet.
OCC will take on Irvine Valley on Friday night at 6 p.m. at IVC.
