Facilities Feature: OCC Kinesiology/Athletics Building
Our fifth and final installment of this week's OCC Facilities Features covers the brand new Orange Coast College Kinesiology & Athletics building.
This new complex will be the headquarters and central hub of our Physical Education, Kinesiology and Athletics departments and it is located next to the Fitness Complex, LeBard Stadium and our new Aquatics Pavilion.
Among the features included in the new Kinesiology and Athletics building ...
- Men's and women's locker rooms
- Features a "wet" side with access to the pool and a dry side for activity classes
- Features team rooms for the water polo and swim & dive teams
- Two team meeting rooms on the pool deck
- A large, multi-purpose room to serve a wide arrange of events and meetings
- Large cardio room for Kinesiology classes
- Large Adapted Kinesiology room to serve the Adapted Kinesiology program
- Expansive equipment management room with laundry services and Gearboss storage system
- State-of-the-art Athletic Training facility with large rehab space, treatment space and hydrotherapy room
- Office suite for the Kinesiology Division and the Athletics Department
