Coast kicks off Forever Pirates feature
COSTA MESA -- It's time to tell your story, former Pirates! Orange Coast College is seeking as many former Pirate athletes from any generation to step up and be heard as OCC kicks off its "Forever Pirates" feature during the remainder of the spring and summer sessions.
The idea is simple ... we want to hear YOUR story ... directly from you! We want to know how Orange Coast College impacted your life for the better, both on the athletic fields and off.
- Relive your favorite memories from your OCC playing career
- Discuss a coach who changed your life
- Talk about life-changing experiences in the classroom
- Friends who not only made a difference for you at Coast, but have stayed with you to this day
- Anything and everything else!
We'd love to hear from you and tell us your favorite memories of your time at OCC. There are no limits in length of story, but please know, we will look things over for proofreading purposes.
The best way to do this is to send to attach a Word document and email the story to sports information director Tony Altobelli at aaltobelli@occ.cccd.edu. Please put "Forever Pirates -- (your name)" in the subject line.
If the numbers are there, we will use these stories throughout the spring, the summer and into the 2020-21 season, so please spread the word to your former Pirate teammates!
