Rain cancels Softball, Baseball for Wednesday
COSTA MESA -- Wednesday's softball and baseball games at Orange Coast College have been washed away due to rain.
At the OCC Softball Complex, the Pirates' Orange Empire Conference opener against Cypress has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. at Coast.
For the Pirate baseball team, Wednesday's nonconference matchup with Palomar has not been rescheduled, but a makeup game could happen later in the season, according to head coach John Altobelli.
Friday's game against Mt. San Antonio, originally scheduled to be played at Mt. SAC, will be switched to OCC's Wendell Pickens Field and will begin at 12 p.m.
