PALM DESERT -- The Orange Coast College women's tennis team continued its strong start to the 2019 season with a convincing 8-1 nonconference win over College of the Desert on Tuesday.
The depth of the Pirates (7-0) showed up against the Roadrunners. In doubles Inoue managed to get some revenge as she and Knickerbocker dispatched COD's Claudia Stepien and Karla Munoz, 8-3, while Sherif/Mason (8-0) and Stone/Kaiser (8-4) each cruised to victories.
From there, the Pirates kicked off OEC play with a solid 5-0 win at Irvine Valley. Individual results were not available at press time.
